There were a few more of us this week so after our quick update on the subconcious bias we talked about last week we split into 2 groups.
Depression and anxiety is so complex, it effects us so personally. We can get stuck in cycles with thoughts going around and around in our heads. Everything can get really difficult. I have found it useful to have a little compassion for myself. Our group is a constant support to me and I thank everyone who attends.
Our small task this week, if you wish to take it up, is to do a "writing steam of conciousness" exercise. Take 5 to 10 minutes to do this task, with pen and paper to hand, choose an object, place or emotion and just write about it without stopping. Just put down what ever pops into our head even if it's the same thing! you can write it up the page Just see what comes out and bring it along next week!
