Keeping Face in 2017
A chance to consider how we maintain face and how that affects our mental health then to move onto creating our own approach to self image and self esteem.
Facilitated by Stephen Moore.
Monday July 24th, 7.00pm - 9.00pm at Sainsbury's Cafe, Tewksbury Road, Cheltenham
On July 2nd 2017, The Observer Editorial on The Crisis in Mental Health proposed that; "The Human condition today is ever more complex in an era of the internet, social media and the focus of status, appearance and material success".
Come along and help us develop our ideas about how to be yourself in 2017.
Please reply by July 13th to [email protected] to confirm your attendance

Keeping Face in 2017
Do you feel its not easy being who you want to be in 2017? We are bombarded with advice from TV, The Internet and Magazines telling us what we should be doing. Social media friends are showing us their achievements and photographs and we are swamped with adverts telling us what we should buy or borrow. Status, appearance and material success are often the measure by which we compare ourselves against others.
So, how do we remain true to who we want to be and who we really are in 2017? This workshop and discussion session aims to provide you with a plan of action. You will leave with tools that can help you revise how you see yourself and act to be successful.
Steve who has had experience leading the Your Space Arts Group, will use a mixture of fun activities, like selfie making and brainstorming together with talking about the things that get in the way of being yourself before we make our own life bucket lists.
