There were a few more to talk to and catch up with this week. But we decided not to split into smaller groups so, due to the time constraints, only some of us could share our week. Timing the sharing sessions can be a difficult task, the need for discussion on a particular subject an individual brings to our attention has a knock on effect and therefore it can be a challenge to "fit" everyone into the sharing time. So if there are more than 6 of us attending the group and we all want to stay as a group, our usual "take in turn" sharing time may have to be abandoned for a while. I apologise to any of you who were disappointed not to share this week. Please feel free to chat with me if any of you have idea's on how to manage time within the group meetings.
My thoughts after our meeting were on the difficulty we have when making decisions and understanding our responses to situations when decision making becomes too overwhelming. A decision can be an easy one to make if we are in the right frame of mind, feeling reasonably confident that we have the ability to carry our decision through in a positive way and happy in the knowing that we may stray a little from the path that our decision has put us on and accepting that it may be difficult to get back on track from time to time. But sometimes decisions are impossible to make. We don't know what the outcome of that decision will be, we can find as many arguments to make the decision as to not, it's like we are stood at a cross roads not knowing which way to go, which path is the right one for me? Thoughts can then circle round and round in our heads in an endless swirl as we become more and more confused. We may just falter in our tracks and become completely stumped. Then some one will say something and everything falls into place and we know this is the way to go. It just takes time for that to happen!
So just stick with it everyone however difficult things an get. We will all get to where we want to be it may just take us a little longer.
